About Dr. Shah
Manish Shah, MD, is double board-certified in internal medicine and pediatrics and has been caring for families in Wesley Chapel, Florida, from newborns to geriatrics, for nearly 15 years. As the founder of Wesley Chapel Internal Medicine and Pediatrics, Dr. Shah values the importance of preventive care and takes an integrative and holistic approach to treat a variety of acute and chronic conditions, including high blood pressure and diabetes. He is affiliated with Florida Hospital in Tampa, Florida.
As a native of Tampa, Florida, Dr. Shah completed his undergraduate studies at the University of Florida in Gainesville and earned his medical degree from the Morsani College of Medicine at University of South Florida in Tampa.
Dr. Shah was the first in his class to complete a dual residency in pediatrics and internal medicine, which he finished at Morsani College of Medicine. This provides him with the unique training to provide comprehensive care for the whole family.
In addition to routine physicals and well-child visits, Dr. Shah has extensive training in nonsurgical cosmetic technology, including Alma™ Harmony XL Pro laser therapies for acne scar and tattoo removal. He is also experienced in supervising customized weight loss programs to protect the long-term health of children and adults.
